a Little.Fish can encourage

As I continue to write about being a Little.Fish. - I have struggled so.frequently. with that label of myself.  It may reach back to the same topic I started with, Content to be a Little.Fish? Which may have resonated most with others too, as it has with me.  I am still yearning for God to do something BIG with me.  For Him to just surprise me, move in a mightly way, and use me to encourage many in their everyday.walks.with.Jesus.  BUT again, I feel Him telling me to be faithful with what I've been given; I desire to be faithful with the 'talents' (parable pun intended) that I've been given.

"Well done, good and faithful servant.  You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much.  Enter into the joy of your master."  Matthew 25:21

One thing I've been encouraged by lately: running.  I have a couple of my girlfriends from my high school & Clemson days who have truly inspired me to get.out.and.run!!  So, we share our photos of our runs & goals via instagram, and the Lord has blessed me through it.  I have been refreshed by the quiet space for my mind.  I have been made stronger in body as I continue to push through what 'feels bad' but is making me stronger day by day.  I have be held up in prayer by my girlfriends when they run, and I too have been raising others up in prayer as I run & he leads.  I have gained a time for peaceful worship while I listen to music that praises our Lord & I cannot tell you how GRACIOUSLY he comforts me as I call out to Him.

I decided to make my monthly milage goal 35 miles

my little passengers

eventhough I didn't make my goal, I was really proud to go 5 more miles overall in September!
(July: 18mi / August: 20mi)
Who would have known that just being faithful in running would bring me such encouragement?  not only to myself, but to some in life that I don't even see face to face?  How much more can God do with things that seem unimportant, unnecessary, trivial?  I guess that just goes to show how much I know.  I love being surprised by the Lord.

This Little.Fish. can encourage.  Even in the small.  But, to build up others, to speak life, is that really such a small thing?
