June 2024

The day finally came for James to get to go to Wyldlife summer camp! He missed going after 7th grade because of our family trip to England for my 40th birthday. He told me later he wished he could have stayed home and gone to camp. yeah right! But he was super excited to go, Hayden went as well, and Anthony was their camp adult leader!

These two and me went to church summer camp, and this was our outfits for red day!

I know the boys hate this so much, but I love to see how much they change every year. So here we have it: the beginning and end of year pictures.

James and Hayden were together for teen week summer camp, and Calvin and David stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. They went the following week to junior summer camp. Word of Life camp has been one of their favorite summer traditions! We are grateful for the family legacy and for getting the opportunity for them to go.

Matt and I love going on our anniversary trip while the boys are away at camp and their grandparents. The timing has been so great, and this year we decided to go climb the St Augustine lighthouse- something we have never done before! It was great. Happy 18th Anniversary darling!

Matt and I also went downtown to see the friendship fountain, and we got to see dolphins swimming in the St John's river at sunset. So cool!

I headed back down to see the last camp rally for the teen week and see the younger boys off to camp. The Proses took these three to Busch gardens for the afternoon to play. They had a great time!

Calvin and David got split up into the younger and older groups for junior camp week, but David got the same counselors as James and Hayden had the week before! That was pretty sweet.

Camp pictures.

My project for the week: redoing the upstairs pictures and gallery wall. I like how it turned out.

Thank you Lord for summer camp and vacation. It is such a blessing to be able to get away from home and see and do something new. Thank you for the things we learned and I pray the boys learn lessons at camp about you Lord that stay with them for their life, whether they can articulate it clearly or not. May they continue to grow in their faith. Amen!
