Augusttttt

The Lord answered one of my prayers: I have always hoped to see baby sea turtles!! We got to see them rescue a few that got stuck on their way to the water, and it was the absolute coolest thing. So awesome!!

Finishing up our trip with jet ski rental. The boys' idea. They gave it lots of thumbs up!!

Ended with a rainbow over our evening meal. So beautiful, and so peaceful.

Matt took these portrait mode pictures of the boys, so cute.

Low tide exploration & all kinds of creatures.

Mini-golf in the rain!

Our sweet pup after we got home!

Games with Anthony.

Back to school 2019! Calvin in 1st with Mrs. Gullett, Hayden in 3rd with Mrs. Allen, James in 4th with Mrs. Doty. David got to have Mrs. Tyree for K-3!

Birthday flowers for Mrs. Tyree!

Wishing our basic training recruit the best of luck!! We will miss you Anthony!!

A great little craigslist find!! painted it & it is my favorite. I absolutely love it!!

Celebrated big David's birthday with a couple of our young life friends, recent high school graduates.

I can't remember why we were at school, but we had fun!

One of our favorite things in JAX, Safe Harbor Seafood! Went with great friends- just remembered one of the twins threw his shoe in the water!! haha, always some kind of craziness going with this many kiddos.

Thankful for a slower paced month. Time to get back to the daily routines. Time to spend with our dear friends and our boys to see their friends. We love the rush of summer time activity, but I also love the peace that comes in the routine. Thank you Lord for your constant presence. Thank you for the parts of this life that are predictable and routine. Thank you for how easy they feel some times, and how easy it is to forget when it is hard to let the boys go back to school everyday. Thank you for the ways you grow them and have grown them in their school years. Thank you for new shoes and first day pictures. Thank you for my life- I know these good gifts are all from you Lord. Amen.
