NNNovember

The best birthday gift: watching my boys play on the same team They are just too much, and I will always love these pictures.

Their schedule was wild: 3 games a week with homework and everything still to do. I made sure I got a couple of pictures at home so I wasn't missing out on my chance. Brothers and teammates, the best.

Calvin won 2nd place in the Drug Free poster contest at school, and he was soo proud! He couldn't wait to show me when he got in the car after school. I saved the group picture taken during school from their social media account. Go Calvin!

They had 'dress like a teacher/dress like a student' day at Lakeside. James' science teacher asked to borrow his banana bucket hat, and wore his PJ pans to look like a student. James is a good sport!

Hayden got to celebrate with his buddies Ford and Kolton for one of their birthdays. I can't remember the name of this specific place, but he was excited to see these friends that he doesn't see much anymore.

I got these beauties from my sweet sister-in-law Natassja for an early birthday gift - So lovely!!

My fantastic friends Carrie and Stephanie went with me to the beach to hunt shark's teeth. We got totally skunked and found none. We got stuck in some kind of crazy traffic for an hour so we had not enough time to look before we had to go home. Such a bummer, but such good company! And I love this picture of us.

I barely walked in the door before Hermione knocked David down in the kitchen and split open his chin. David was holding onto something, which is why he didn't catch himself. Poor kid. I took him over to the pediatrician to get it checked out, and they were able to put a couple of stitches in.

I love getting a shot of Hayden and James playing on the field together.

Happy 40th to me! We went to a local British Pub for dinner and invited our favorite English friends, the Cowaps to enjoy the cooking with us. We had a wonderful time!

Height check for James, & he's taller than Mrs. Ann!

James and his club soccer team.

Mrs. Ann took me out for tea for my birthday, and it was so wonderful. I had never been to the little tea room here in town by the train tracks in Orange Park. I literally have driven past it hundreds, if not thousands, of times. Getting to go in was really a treat!

I am getting excited to make my annual Star Wars ornament! This year is C-3PO!

we were able to go up to GA to visit my Mom&Dad for my Dad's birthday. It has become our annual tradition to go during the week of Thanksgiving to celebrate early Thanksgiving and his birthday. The boys can also go hunting during this week, which is the best.

My Mom gave me the best gift for my birthday: my Grandma Tish's necklace. This is the necklace I remember her wearing, which makes it really special to me. I love it! The boys like to tease me and call it a 'chain', But I don't listen to those wildmen.

The boys playing 'extreme hide and seek, and I guess Hayden hid David so well that he was the last to be found!

This gift will go down in history! Papa always guesses 'a sweater' when we give him a gift. So, I think it was Hayden or maybe David who said, lets give him a sweater! It was so funny, because he didn't guess it was a sweater!! We all had such a good laugh. It's a nice cashmere sweater, so I hope he is enjoying it.

We continued on our trip to Louisiana to visit Uncle John and Aunt Kelsey in their home out there. We hadn't been able to go visit them after their move in 2021 (I think?), so we were glad for enough time to make the drive out (which is 2 days for us). We drove out to celebrate Thanksgiving, and stayed in a camp ground with little cabins.

James with Grandpa & Uncle John. So tall!!

Luckily each little cabin had its own kitchen. Here are my rolls and apple pies!

My four sons lined up to eat!

All the cousins piled on the couch!

Oh yes, the rolls were so good!!

Uncle John gave us a tour of the church, and the kiddos were drawing together in this music room.

We had fun with our little cousins at their house. Too sweet.

We took a little day trip to Texas to see the sights. At least we found big foot!

Here are 8 little Prose grandkiddos all lined up!

Calvin with Uncle John's dog Hopper. We joke and call his Hooper and Cooper and Chopper and Copper. It really is just because Grandpa forgets the dog's name! haha, but it is a silly joke that makes us all love the dog more.

Thank you Lord for soccer matches, for my birthday, for time in GA with my parents, and for time in Louisiana with our extended family. Thank you for your protection while we drove all over, and thank you for the opportunity to see new things. Thank you Lord for all your good gifts. Amen!
